In December, 5 Bohorodchany secondary school №1 met teachers of foreign languages of our district. The purpose of the meeting was to get acquainted with the site of our methodical association and discuss all issues related to work on it.
The site administrator I. Mazur showed all the possibilities of virtual work. explained various aspects and answered numerous questions of the teachers.

Twice a year our school held open lessons decade. During the lessons, students can show their ability to master knowledge, teachers share their experience and present adopted novelties for their work. This fall, in late November, among others, students and teachers demonstrated their knowledge, skills and foreign language skills.

In Round II of Olympiad in English, which was held this year on November 19, took part 9 students of our school.
They showed their best results.
1st place - Strutynska Mariana (10th form)
2nd place - Maksiom Maxym (8th form), Filipskyh Olga (10th form)

October 28 will be remembered to Bohorodchany secondary school №1 with the visit of representatives of Prykarpatsky Vasyl Stefanyk University.
Students and teachers of the institute of philology, faculty of foreign languages and journalist faculty told us about students` life. The visitors once again proved that foreign language skills are very important in today's world. They have demonstrated the ability to communicate in English, German, French, Polish and Czech. The guests of these specialties told about studying in high school, about travelling to different countries, work and recreation in Ukraine and abroad, showed video lessons and entertained with a song with a guitar.

Future Leaders Exchange Program (FLEX) is a US government sponsored program for students 8-10 grades of secondary schools from different countries. The program provides scholarship funding for students to travel to the US to attend a US school full academic year (July / August to May / June), and live in a host family in the USA. The competition for the program FLEX is free and open to everyone.
This year's test in Ivano-Frankivsk region took place on October, 15 at 9.00 at the secondary school №22. The students of our school participated in the trial of the forces of the English language.

In October, 12 the students of 8-11-graders had the opportunity to show their skills, abilities and talents taking part in the first round of the Ukrainian Olympiad in English.
This year, 23 students came to compete at our school. All of them showed good results. Of course, not everybody won. Our team will include 11 best representatives in the district stage.

In August, 21 it was held the district sectional meeting of teachers of foreign languages. The meeting summed up the last school year and drawn up plans for the next one.
In August, 26 in the courtroom of Bohorodchany district there was the administration plenary session of the district August teaching conference.The English teacher of Bohorodchany School №1 Iryna Mazur took part in the discussing. In her speech "Knowledge of English - the key to student`successful entry into the European educational space," the teacher told the achievements of teachers and students in the area of English during the last school year.
