In October, 12 the students of 8-11-graders had the opportunity to show their skills, abilities and talents taking part in the first round of the Ukrainian Olympiad in English.
This year, 23 students came to compete at our school. All of them showed good results. Of course, not everybody won. Our team will include 11 best representatives in the district stage.

So, our winners of the Stage Contest are:

As usual the competition contained four kinds of tests: listening, reading, writing and speaking.

Listening: students are asked to listen to the text, that is read twice, before doing two tasks: 1) choice of right or wrong statements, 2) choose the correct statements from four.
Reading: 2-3 texts for review and tasks to them (as in listening).
Writing:from the following three topics a student chooses to express his opinion.
Speaking: a student randomly draws three of the following topics, reread them and chooses one for oral expression. The jury member asks questions to clarify information for the selected student theme.
