All-Ukrainian student Olympiads in basic subjects are a kind of intellectual competitions in the educational space of Ukraine designed to encourage students to study certain subjects. The I stage of the Olympiad (school) in English was held in October at our school. The winners are Zhurakovska Arina (8th grade), Hutsman Dmytro (9th grade), Dviborodchyn Bohdan and Koziar Victoria (10th grade) -a teacher Mazur IM.
Congratulations to all: both participants and winners on passing this competition!
Due to a difficult health situation, the second stage of this year's Olympics has been postponed indefinitely.

The European Day of Languages (EDL) is celebrated across Europe on the 26th of September every year. It aims to promote the rich linguistic diversity of Europe and raise awareness of the importance of lifelong language learning for everyone.
Celebrating the day is a great way to spread awareness. We could share your experience learning a European language, facts or inspiration, or (our personal favourite) a language joke or two! Students of our school were also the participants of the celebration preparing presentations on the topic #EuropeanDayofLanguages.

For safety reasons related to the coronavirus pandemic, in the fall of 2020, the FLEX program conducts online testing for the next programming year 2021-22. Students of our school Dmytro Hutsman, Victoria Koziar, Mariana Volochiy participated in the selection process using a mobile phone or a computer. Selection for the FLEX program includes three rigorous rounds of testing, although participants will not participate in live testing.

I bring the world into my classroom/ We are among the winners!!!
Will we add life to our lessons? We announce a photo quiz from the publishing house National Geographic Learning.
1. Publish a series of photos (4-5 pieces) on the topic “I bring the world into my classroom”
2. Be sure to add # NGLUkraine2020 to the description so we can find you.
3. The period of participation is from 15.09 to 27.09 2020.
4. On September 28, 2020 we will choose 6 winners
5. The winners will receive a textbook as a gift.
Share pictures that show students learning about the real world in English lessons. This can be project activities, using videos or photos and working with them.
