This year's district contest "My village, for me is the only one" on the topic "My school" has come to the end.
During the first stage of the competition, which took place in October-January, the participants collected and completed the materials. To the attention of the jury there was presented a large number of projects, even more diverse than last year. All works were original and significant in their own way, and there were ten winners.
On March, 27 the teams of pupils and teachers from the winning schools gathered for an event. Their task was to be prepared for the oral defence of their project

In our school there is a tradition to carry out the week dedicated to the well-known poet. Both in Ukrainian and in English we organize different events.
This year we organized several activities connecting with Shevcnenko`s poems. Children had an opportunity to read "Testament" not only in English but in other languages. The pupils did their best in reading the English translations of different poem. They could show the knowledge of poems trying to find the Ukrainian equivalents of the English translations in the quiz. Some pupils did a research work: they had to find and present some interesting information about poet's life. And the pupils of the whole school could listen to reciting translations of the poems on the meeting.
