11:36 Taras Shevchenko Unites the World |
During the whole week, pupils and teachers of school number 1 of Bohorodchany took part in the Shevchenko Marathon - a line on how the works of our Kobzar are intertwined with different educational subjects (history, geography, mathematics, biology). The week ended with the presentation of the poet's poetry abroad - Shevchenko and foreign languages.
The participants were able to hear the execution of passages of poems from the video, where different ambassadors speak their own languages, and the 8th grade students who fulfilled the "Testament" in different languages of the world. On the presentation we could see the title pages of Shevchenko's editions in various languages and photos of Kobzar monuments in the world. Also we heard an unusual performance of the song on the words of "Testament" in English accompanied by the guitar (video).
