17:42 Dinternal Education Autumn Fest Seminar in Ivano-Frankivsk |
Dinternal Education Autumn Fest runs a series of workshops on effective English language proficiency in a secondary school in accordance with the principles of a competent approach. On October 29, 2018, such a seminar was held for teachers in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The teachers of English of our district also joined this meeting and gained new knowledge and ideas.
Two extremely interesting and intensive themes were offered to the participants of the event, where teachers not only listened and saw the presentation, but also actively participated in the conversation themselves. The session was held by Svitlana Sorochynska, the chief methodologist of the international educational and methodological center Dinternal Education - the exclusive representative of the British publishing house Pearson in Ukraine.
1) The Golden 7: Planning a Perfect Lesson. A systematic approach to planning balanced and meaningful English lessons aimed at maximizing student engagement and ensuring a high level of productive skills.
2) Discover the Wider World of Vocabulary. Interesting and effective methods of working out lexical material taking into account the activity approach in secondary school
Olena Kalashnik, a methodologist at the International Education and Training Center Dinternal Education (Lviv), summed up the workshop, introduced the attendees to the center's newsletters, and conducted a lottery from Dinternal Education.
All present were able to watch the exhibition of modern literature and buy textbooks.
